Finally, after months of construction Full Tilt Logistics and Full Tilt Transportation have relocated! Our new company-owned headquarters is located at 470 East Plumb Lane in Reno. This 11,116 square foot three-story office building located in the heart of Reno will provide Full Tilt, your Reno logistics company, the ability to strategically grow the business to serve an ever-increasing customer base.
The building interior was demolished and redesigned to meet the fast pace environment in today’s freight brokerage services and trucking business. Space planning and design were done by prominent local architects Collaborative Design Studio of Reno. The redesign incorporated an industrial open office concept, utilizing the latest lighting and space conditioning technology to increase energy efficiency and lower our carbon footprint. Interior décor was provided by Reno Business Interiors and building construction was done by longtime local contractor C3 Construction. New exterior signage and paint were used to professionally brand the building consistent with Full Tilt’s company image. The latest in building security and video surveillance make the company headquarters one of the most secure facilities in the area. New fencing and parking lot resurfacing will be completed soon.
Full Tilt worked closely with a local energy supplier, NV Energy, to maximize lighting load reduction by entirely retrofitting the building and replacing incandescent and fluorescent lighting with high efficiency LED technology. Building interior and exterior lighting now utilizes motion sensors, timers, and photocells that automatically adjust the lighting based on ambient light levels. This technology minimizes lighting load while providing employees with optimal light levels to operate in the most effective manner.
In addition, Full Tilt partnered with NV Energy in their “power shift” energy management system. Program equipment was installed to enable communication between NV Energy demand response management system and Full Tilt equipment. This equipment provides energy efficiency and demand savings in addition to gaining operation and maintenance efficiencies.
Part of the Full Tilt culture is focused on efficiency and being good stewards of our environment. Our growing trucking fleet is the most fuel efficient on the road and our new building and related energy efficiency are consistent with our approach to utilizing resources in the best way possible.

Full Tilt brings a solid, proven approach to protecting your most high value shipments because freight security is a major priority for us. We have the safeguards in place and a proven track record to assure our customers that their products are in good hands when they choose Full Tilt.
There is no magic wand that's used by any of the trucking companies in Reno, NV that gets the job done. To find solutions to complex problems, Full Tilt layers processes and procedures with the latest technologies. We then apply this strategy across every facet of your shipment and its journey. The right combination of planning, processes, contract language, packaging, and monitoring all help to ensure that your goods reach their intended destinations.
We make sure high value shipments are properly prepared for transit. This means utilizing corner boards, strapping, blanket wraps, banding and shrink-wrapping to protect products during transit. Using the right equipment, proper training and precise route planning are all critical.
We also take other measures to boost security. These often include expedited service, team drivers, covert and overt GPS, split shipments and careful timing. We provide strategic overlap to ensure security for your freight, keeping it moving from pickup to delivery. Monitoring equipment when the truck stops to refuel, constantly tracking your freight along our carefully pre-planned routes, driver check calls, electronic tracking and more.
With Full Tilt’s heightened supply chain visibility, our customer service team ensures that your high-value freight arrives where and when it should be. Using expedited services and direct routes minimizes touch points and dwell time – two vulnerable areas. When capacity is tight, shippers scramble to move cargo, forcing them to deal with carriers they’re less familiar with. This makes it easier for things to go wrong.
Our drivers receive refresher training to keep them sharp and aware. Our customers also get an individually assigned customer service team to make sure everything goes according to plan. At Full Tilt, we provide every load with the tightest security available. Full Tilt is also always in compliance with every government regulation and their accompanying high safety standards.
We also specialize in transporting time-sensitive freight. As one of the largest trade show and exhibit freight service providers in the country, we understand the importance of on-time delivery. If your high-value electronic equipment doesn’t make it to the show on time, then you have problems. We aim to avoid this scenario. For large national exhibits and trade-industry shows, on-time delivery is a must. In today’s business climate, every minute matters but on these loads, they matter more.
When your freight is on an especially tight timeline, choosing Full Tilt freight brokerage services is your best option. We have a 99% on-time delivery track record - we get your freight delivered, securely and on time. Bottom line: you can rest assured knowing that your freight is moving as quickly and safely as possible. On time and safe delivery with total visibility makes the difference - it shows how Full Tilt runs a successful high-value logistics service.

Planning every aspect of your trade show logistics or expo logistics is sometimes a nightmare. It's essential to communicate with each venue and the event staff, all while making sure critical event deadlines are met at each stop. These are just a few of the significant responsibilities Full Tilt Transportation can help you excel at.
One vital aspect of a successful tour, show or exposition is getting everything from one location to the next in a safe and timely manner. You need a transportation company that thrives under pressure and takes pride in exceeding your logistics expectations and deadlines every time.
You know that when it comes to meeting deadlines and getting the job done right that you need experience, flexibility, customer service, and frequent communication. These are all factors that separate good and bad logistics and transport companies from one another. Chances are good that you have critical time requirements. If your logistics company can't meet a deadline, everyone suffers.
Monster Jam is an example of logistics done right. Recently, Full Tilt Logistics is actively coordinating with Monster Jam and providing logistical support. Our prime objective is to ensure that the tour's equipment gets from point A to point B in the most efficient and economical way possible. Like many clients, Monster Jam's standards and expectations are demanding, regardless we are up to the challenge. Full Tilt's dedicated drivers work full time for Monster Jam, moving their equipment across the country. We regularly shuttle equipment to and from event sites and make sure all of the logistics are in order.
Monster Jam is often referred to as the "super bowl of monster trucks," featuring drivers who compete in Racing and Freestyle Championships. A Monster Jam engine will generate 1,500 horsepower, thanks to a blower that forces air and fuel into the engine. It is powered by methanol fuel, consumed at the rates of three gallons a minute from a specially constructed safety cell. The truck utilizes a four-link racing suspension with four main bars that link the front and rear axles to the frame. It rides on clusters of nitrogen-charged shocks that offer 30 inches of travel in the suspension.
At Monster Jam shows, monster trucks face off in two different forms of competition - Racing and Freestyle. The smaller shows feature a wheelie competition and or a donut contest. The goal in the wheelie competition is to hit a ramp and get big air while remaining perpendicular to the ground. In the donut competition a driver tries to spin their truck until he/she gets dizzy, the truck can't go anymore, or they think they have a high enough score to win. Side-by-side racing or traditional heads-up tournament racing requires that the first truck to cross the finish line can't move onto the next round until it is eliminated or wins the racing trophy by winning the Championship race. The freestyle competition allows drivers two minutes on an open floor to show off their skills as they drive the trucks over cars while completing stunts and tricks with their trucks.
The event itself dates back to 1992, but today the show is massive. Monster Jam travels throughout the United States and Canada putting on massive shows to sold-out arenas. Monster Jam holds shows throughout the year, with more shows during the winter than the summer. Locations also range around the world. Europe, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and recently Japan have all played host to Monster Jam. The culmination of all this global action occurs in Las Vegas at the Monster Jam World Finals where the best of the best come out to compete.
Moving Monster Jam Equipment is a massive undertaking. Putting things in perspective is important here. Each Monster Jam truck is approximately 10.5 feet tall, 12 feet wide, 17 feet long and weighs 12,000 pounds. The BKT tires are 66 inches in diameter and 43 inches wide, inflated to 16-20 psi pressure and (with wheel) weigh 800 pounds each. The driver’s compartment is a steel safety structure, built from tubing and mounted to the truck frame. The truck bodies are custom-built and constructed of fiberglass. To move these requires some specialized consideration.
Monster Truck logistics needs are similar to trade show logistics needs. Both typically entail the movement of large, oversized or specialty pieces of equipment on tight deadlines. On average Monster Jam drivers are on tour for around 25 weekends out of the year. However, some do as many as 40 weekends. This means that teams are constantly on the move and required to meet strict deadlines.
But how do you transport something as massive as a monster truck? You won't find a monster truck rolling down the highway, so how's it done? To transport a monster truck requires a specially prepared trailer. These trailers are massive and include spare parts and as many as two trucks. Fitting the truck inside of the trailer requires removing the monster sized tires. These are massive and require some special handling. The actual truck component of the monster truck rides on a toter-tire. These are considerably smaller, making it easier for the truck to fit inside of the trailer. Depending on the setup most everything travels in one or two enclosed trailers.
Streamlining, consolidating and outsourcing your logistics processes can result in huge long term financial savings and better overall client service. We're here to help you achieve your overall shipping needs across the United States. Freight logistics costs are on the rise across the nation. Here are several factors contributing to this recent surge.
The recent surge in hurricane activity in Houston, Florida, and Puerto Rico is damaging to supply chain infrastructure. Some areas received over 60 inches of rain, while destructive winds lead to massive flooding, loss of life and destruction. The flooding inundated hundreds of thousands of homes displaced more than 100,000 people and prompted thousands of rescues.
Oil refineries were also negatively affected. This is leading to a shortage of fuel and increased shipping and transportation prices across the United States. The hurricane season isn't over yet. This has lead industry insiders and experts to speculate on overall effects and market fluctuations.
Following the devastation left by Gulf Coast hurricanes, FEMA stepped in and began offering aid and assistance to all affected areas. FEMA's need for equipment, goods and drop off locations resulted in logistical congestion. Full Tilt was amongst many logistics companies called on to truck goods and equipment into the affected areas. This caused FEMA to actually begin utilizing our own trailers.
Some are still waiting for assistance from FEMA and the federal government is still in possession of our trailers. We are working hard to recover our equipment. FEMA's use of our equipment is undoubtedly for a good cause; however, this does impact our business and the business of other dedicated transportation companies.
Carriers became aware of the need for additional trucks and equipment. As a result, some raised their rates by up to 30%. The high demands that the disaster areas placed on freight logistics companies resulted in a shortage of trucks and an overall increase in pricing across the country.
At Full Tilt, we kept our pricing at affordable levels. We choose not to take advantage of shipping rate hikes as a result of the devastation caused by the storms. We treat all parties fairly and with respect and value our long term business relationships. This is more important than capitalizing on a quick buck due to natural disasters. Our philosophy serves us well and contributes to our rapid growth as a company.
As we enter the fourth quarter of the year, the demand for dedicated transportation and trucking services are on the rise. It's the same story every year. However, this year (because of the economic recovery taking place) consumer confidence and associated spending is at an all-time high. As manufacturers are gearing up for what promises to be a robust Christmas season. The forecast is for increased need of dedicated transportation across the country. This places more demands on the freight logistics industry.
Carriers are gearing up for Q4. Right now there is a belief that this year's demand for logistics carriers will outpace supply. Again, the increased demand and limited supply will create upward pressure on delivery pricing. Reliable logistics companies like FULL TILT plan this kind of contingency and have an established network in place to ensure a seamless transition between differing market conditions. We under promise, over deliver and at all times remain transparent with our customers.
Join the growing number of shippers who choose Full Tilt Logistics to help them solve their dedicated transportation needs. Contact us today for pricing and more information - it could be the best business move you’ll ever make.
Please take a few minutes to find out a little about Full Tilt Logistics and why we are the best logistics partner you will ever have. Full Tilt is a family owned business that believes in doing the right thing. Our culture reflects this in everything we do. We are consistent and transparent and treat all parties fairly, honestly and with dignity.
Full Tilt was founded by a third-generation Nevada native to address the poor levels of customer service he encountered daily in the four previous logistics companies he worked with. Recognizing that larger companies viewed their customers as just another number, he vowed to start a company that would do better and treats every customer with the respect they deserve.
The freight carriers and supply chain business is based on relationships, right? How many times have you heard that one? Companies peddle their sales and marketing pitches all the time, but they never talk about communication, transparency, and trust. Business relationships are essential for a strong partnership; however, these relationships must be developed. Only when you establish a foundation of trust and transparency can a meaningful relationship be established.
Our goal with our customers is always a win-win outcome. Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships takes time and effort, but it pays off. While price is important, working with a freight carrier provider you trust will reduce risk and the cost of doing business in the long term. We work hard for long term relationships. A relationship is a two-way street and you get back what you put in. See what our customers are saying at www.fulltiltlogistics.com.
To demonstrate our confidence in providing the highest level of customer service available and a fair price for our freight carriers services, we promise to do what we say or you pay nothing! When a new customer books five loads with Full Tilt, if for any reason a load is not delivered on time that load is free!
Try and find any other company willing to do this. Contact us to take advantage of this limited time offer.
